Life Integrity Network operates on a foundational, unifying principle: the sanctity of human life is an indivisible truth. We defend life from conception to natural death through four interconnected pillars, recognizing that an attack on one dimension of human dignity weakens the entire fabric of a life-affirming culture. Each pillar in our programs reinforces and necessitates each other:
Our work begins at humanity's origin; defending the right to life for the preborn. This is the first and most fundamental right, without which all other rights are meaningless. We cannot champion a safe society for children if we do not first secure their right to be born.
The created order of male and female (Genesis 1:27) is the biological and spiritual architecture for life and family. This order provides the stable, complementary environment in which children are meant to be conceived, born, and nurtured. When this truth is rejected, it directly undermines the family structure - the safest haven for both mother and child, often leading to situations where abortion is seen as a solution and where identity confusion creates vulnerabilities that substances and crime exploit.
Securing a child’s right to be born is only the first step; we must also ensure they enter a world conducive to flourishing. Substance abuse devastates the prenatal environment (threatening the preborn), destabilizes families (corroding the natural gender-based family unit), and impairs the judgment and health of parents, increasing risks of neglect, abuse, and abortion. A drug-free society is a prerequisite for protecting both the born and the preborn.
A society that permits violence and injustice declares that human life is disposable. This culture of disposal directly fuels abortion. Conversely, the devaluation of life inherent in abortion breeds a broader contempt for human dignity that manifests in crime. We prevent crime to create the peaceful, ordered society that vulnerable mothers, children, and families need to thrive - the very goal of our work in all other pillars.
In essence, we fight for a consistent life ethic. We abolish abortion because life is sacred; we advocate for natural God-given gender because it is the life-giving order; we prevent substance abuse to protect life’s potential for our bodies are God’s temple; and we prevent crime to secure life’s peace. These are not separate causes, but a single, seamless mission: to build a culture that honours God’s design and defends the inherent dignity of every person, at every stage, and in every circumstance.
